Die Band wurde im Sommer 2005 gegründet. Nach zahlreichen Auftritten und der gelungenen Debüt EP „to die for“ wurde 5th of November im Frühjahr 2008 zu einer Pause gezwungen. Aus der Not wurde eine Tugend und man beschloss die Pause zu nutzen, um sich nummerisch und musikalisch zu bereichern. Aus dem Quartett wurde ein Quintett. Die Saiten wurden runter gestimmt und der alten Orientierung wurde eine ordentliche Portion Geschwindigkeit drauf gelegt. Nach gut 18 Monaten war der Rohdiamant fertig geschliffen. Im Herbst 2009 zeigte sich 5th of November in neuen Kleidern und böser Miene. Im Handgebäck nichts weniger als ihre neue EP „PURSUIT“. Aggressiv und dennoch mit viel Hingabe zum Detail. -
