Die 2007 gegründete Kombo BACKYARDLOOPS , bestehend aus dem executive Producer Dj B.Side und den Vocalists Dr.Peppsta , Sassion und Jamie White , haben sich zum Ziel gesetzt die deutsche Dancehall-Raggae und Socascene zu erobern . Dj B.Side feierte schon in den neunzigern größere erfolge mit der Rapgruppe Mellowbag und dürfte der Hörerschaft des Senders JamFM durch seine Sendung Coke DJ Culture bekannt sein . Die drei anderen Protagonisten der Band erlangten nicht unerheblichen Bekanntheitsgrad durch den HipHop Kultfilm STATUSYO! der 2004 in den Kinos lief und in Videotheken regelmäßig vergriffen ist . Aufmerksamkeit erregten sie berreits durch das anfang 2008 im Internet ( Youtube.com , MyVideo.com , MySpace.com etc... ) erschienene Video zur Parodie des Culcha Candela Songs ,, HAMMA “.         Just verified that Mumia Abu-Jamal is being held in Administrative Custody at SCI Mahanoy, Frackville, PA until he is cleared to enter general population within a few days. 
        We need phone calls to the institution to let them know that the WORLD is watching Mumia’s movements and ask general questions so that they know that nothing they are doing is happening under cover of darkness. 

        Please also send cards and letters to Mumia at the new address so that he begins receiving mail immediately and it is known to all of the people there that we are with him!
