Howdy folks and welcome to the Daddyslide MySpace page!

In search of the perfect slide I checked out different kind of slides, but I was always disappointed by the slides that are offered in German musicstores. Somehow they always lacked something important whether it was the sound or the handling I was never really satisfied with them.
Just like Oscar Wilde said:"I have the simplest of tastes. I am always satisfied with the best." ;-)
Therefore I came to the conclusion that I have to create my own slide that would meet all my expectations and my requirements.
Once I started to experiment with the material und different alloy I was stunned by the posibilities of a customized slide. I could modify wall thickness, lengths, and inner diameters of the slides which of course had an influence on tone and handling.
In order to share the advantages of a handmade slide with other musicians, I promoted a SMALL online enterprise. All the slides are handmade in Germany.
