His first experience of singing live was in the local choir in the local church at the age of seven years.Much to the delight of all the old ladies who showed great appreciation when Eddy sang a solo.My first fans! With the Lords permission Eddy actually got paid for this heavenly work.............. Eddy has travelled the whole world extensively. ............ He lived and played in Paris three years/California,USA/Amsterdam,Zurich,etc,etc. He lived in Sydney/Ausralia,two and a halfe years and played with "Shortfused" and" Eddys Got A Brand New Bag"............................................................... He's toured Europe from one end to the other. North, South, East and West. The road is long, its tough, its incredible,its up, its down. They played at the, "Nighthawks"," Dick Whittinings Tavern"and the famous, "Esplenade"(Espy") in Melbourne. Also at the St Andrews Hotel,out in the country.Great.The last time we all got together was this year,Feb/March/2008.............................................................................................. In February,2007,and February.2009, Eddy had the great opportunity to visit and perform in New Orleans,USA. He sung with old freinds," Mark and the Pentones"at the Funky Pirate and other clubs on Bourbon Street and the French Quarter.He also played the Kerry/ Spotted Cat/ Apple Barrel/ Blues Club/ Crazy Corner. In 2004 Eddys love for soul music inspired him to form a side project ."EDDY WILKINSON'S SOUL TRAVELLERS" This band plays once in awhile. FAST EDDY WILKINSON also has his "ACOUSTIC SOLO SHOW" with acoustic guitar/ harmonica and stomp(beat) box..................................................................................... He also has his "ACOUSTIC DUO SHOW" with Paul Lawall on lead and rythm acoustic guitar..........................................................The "SOLO/DUO" acoustic show is a little diferent from the band. The great bass player Micheal Walter is playing Bass with the band.. Sabastian Brauchle's marvelous groove drumming completes the line up.
