    Flapperwax is a one man music project. I write and record the songs that come to me. I am not trying to fit into a certain genre of metal music. I simply call my music metal. I will leave it up to the public to determine my genre. I have allways loved all types of metal. In fact I love all types of good music. I record all my songs myself in my home studio. I enjoy creating songs. I was born on the island of Hispanola and was raised in the beautiful state of Arizona. Most of my life has been spent in Arizona. I have recently moved to the state of Alabama and like it here very much. My intention is to keep writing songs. I took piano lessons as a very small child. I played the baritone in my school band. At age 14 or 15 I bought my first guitar. It was a homemade job that looked a lot like a Telecaster. I loved that guitar and wish I still had it. From the very beginning I liked creating songs more than playing music created by others. I played with a few bands but it never worked because I seemed to be the only one who wanted to play original music. I realized if I ever wanted to finish my music I would have to do everything myself. So I borrowed a bass, drums,and mic and started recording on a 4 track recorder. Over time I have upgraded to a computer recording program bought my own intruments and have created a home recording studio. I love it. I love creating music.
