In a small workshop in Muenster (Germany) some of the world's finest electric guitars are made. Each instrument is elaborately planned, handcrafted and setup by Oliver Baron. It is not put up for sale unless everything is perfect. The demand for high quality limits the number of instruments to around 25 a year, which makes each Helliver Guitar a unique collector's piece.

Only well seasoned high grade woods are used. Some of them are rarely found in industrial guitar production, but have excellent tonal qualities, e. g. walnut and curly hornbeam.

As a matter of course, there is an intensive exchange between the musician and Helliver Guitars in every custom order (see OPTIONS). Expensive ornamentation and pretentious kitsch are excluded, to keep your dream intrument tasteful and affordable.

All instruments are handmade. This means there are no computer controlled machines involved, just a planer, a router and a bandsaw. All the top carving, neck shaping and body sanding is done by luthier's hands. It is not computers but dedication and perfectionism which lead to a great guitar.
