    Matthias Kick was born in Munich in 1988. He discovered a feeling for beat and rhythm at a very early age when he let off steam with mum's wooden spoons and saucepans. It was soon clear that this talent had to be promoted and he started taking drum lessons. He and his school band delighted the audiences at various events at that time. His first contact with electronic music was at the age of 15, when he was fascinated by the vibe and the good spirits. At the end of 2009 he tried his first spell behind the turntables to radiate his good mood within his own four walls. The good response from his friends quickly made it clear that Matthias can entertain larger audiences. Various appearances followed. He became a resident in the Kreuz 16 scene bar in Munich and appeared in the Cocka Hola series in the former Prinzip. Only six months later, Matthias was booked for the Newcomer Night by the legendary Harry Klein Club. This was followed by regional and international bookings in Austria and Switzerland, but Matthias wanted more. Since the end of 2010 he has produced his own beats to give his fans the real kick. His love of music then led him to study audio engineering at the SAE Munich. At the moment he is working on his first release. The musical tastes of this young man from Munich range from house to techno, but he is also open to other listening experiences and experimental to melancholic trips. We're already looking forward to more collective "freak-outs" and wondering just what else Matthias has got lined up for us.
