  • Bio

I've been playing guitar since I was really quite little. I started singing as well fairly recently, after I found out you can sing folk in a Yorkshire accent. # I help out at Twickenham Folk Club (twickfolk.co.uk) - (almost) every Sunday at the Cabbage Patch pub. # These songs were all recorded by Will Davies at The Strongroom, London, on 25 October 2008. # The videos (are they working?) were made at other places by Juneau Projects ("Don't stop ...") and MondayMonday ("John Ball"). # These are all arrangements of songs I've learned from records; I didn't write any of 'em!
  • Members

Me and anyone who wants to join in.
  • Influences

Probably everyone I've ever seen and heard, but these for sure: Martin Simpson, Chris Wood, Led Zeppelin III, Baby Bird, Steve Vai, Vaughan Williams, Mark Knopfler, Sting, Martha Tilston, Kate Rusby, Dweezil Zappa, Joey Tempest, Richie Kotzen, Nic Jones, Cara Dillon, The Divine Comedy.
  • Sounds Like

A Yorkshireman playing acoustic guitar and singing, often at the same time. Should be coming in your ears right now. Deaf? No sound? Here's what people have said about me: "Lovely" (Peggy Seeger) # "Lachrymose" (Neil Lockwood) # "A male version of Enya" (Che Lowenstein) # "Transcendental" (Anon.) # "All of your songs are so sad" (Anna Gerasimova - who is Russian).
