Meet Psychonautilus, the One-Man Disco. Grown up in the Bavarian Forest enjoying a good read of Nietzsche and 'The Joy of Sex', Psychonautilus was banished from his home before reaching the age of 20 for playing degenerate music and reciting obscene poetry. Drifting through Psychology and Psychedelia for some odd years, he was washed ashore in Liverpool where he was granted admittance to the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, aka Paul McCartney's fame school. There he learnt the vital lessons in self-deception and prostitution that every artist should know by heart, and discovered the secret business principles on which both the music industry and the sex trade firmly rest. Equipped with this powerful knowledge, there was only one destination to set out for: Berlin, the Babylonian Whore amongst European cities. Meet Psychonautilus, the One-Man Disco. Nihilist. Master of Sonic Arts. The Bastard Son of Zappa and Cosey Fanni Tutti. The lovechild Peaches and Captain Beefheart will never have. Punk energy meets booty-shakin' beats and basslines. Future Funk collides with Krautrock weirdness. And above all resides an all-singing, all-dancing, guitar playing, groove riding and rhyme spitting crazy ass whizz kid.
