NICK J.TOWNSEND is a British underground musician, singer and multi-instrumentalist. He operates under the studio name WEAK13. He is also the host for 'Metal Time' on Basementsound Radio.
CHRONIC (aka Rob Hodgson) joined Weak13 in 2007. His first performance was in the Death Machine music video. Live drummer for Weak13 shows and recordings. A multi-talented musician. Also a skilled singer and performs as vocalist for the band Malevolent Aspect.

WEAK13 is a British industrial / metal / grunge act, founded in 1999 by NICK J.TOWNSEND in Kidderminster, United Kingdom. As its main singer, producer, songwriter, and instrumentalist, Townsend is the only official member of WEAK13 and remains solely responsible for its musical and artistic direction. WEAK13's music is every genre with metal overtones. Townsend recruits a live band to perform with him on stage after recording WEAK13 songs in different studios.

WEAK13 has remained underground and independent by choice for many years as Townsend refuses to be controlled by record companies. The music has been passed around the underground for many years and only became known to a wider general public recently when Townsend signed his first ever publishing deal in 2007 with Newsound Records who released the DEATH MACHINE e.p. on iTunes. The deal still left Townsend full artistic control of the music
After ten years Nick J.Townsend has until now never released a WEAK13 studio album. He will by 09.09.09 complete the first one, which in his own words "will change the music scene". Nick J.Townsend is prepared to negotiate with record companies a deal for this album which has taken him 10 years to write. Nick plays all the instruments on the album. Nick is working recording with an engineer who uses very unorthodox methods who goes under the name 'Crazy MULE'.
