We’ve got news about Andy Samberg’s latest project, hope for a “Bored to Death” movie, some “Community” love, and more. Check out some of this week’s hottest links in TV below!

“SNL” has not only lost Kristen Wiig this season, but also Andy Samberg (and possibly Jason Sudeikis, too). But while Samberg has been turning to movies lately, he’s surprisingly heading overseas to take on his next TV project. He’ll star opposite “The Inbetweeners” Greg Davies in the British series “Cuckoo,” a comedy in which Samberg plays a bizarre new age hippie who marries Davies’ daughter. Hilarity ensues when she brings him home to meet the family.

If you love NBC’s “Community” half as much as I do, you’ll probably love this short supercut (oxymoron?) that stitches together everytime the song “Daybreak” either plays in the background or is hummed by one of the show’s characters. God, I love this show so much.

Remember the short-lived HBO series “Bored to Death”? The modern day detective noir starred Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson, and Zach Galifianakis and now there’s word that HBO is considering giving the now-defunct series a 90 minute movie. Fans of the show would surely appreciate a better conclusion than the one they were given with the series, and any chance to revisit their favorite weed-smoking slackers is a welcome one.

Speaking of pot comedies, looks like Showtime is pulling the plug on one of their long-running series that also loves cannabis. The upcoming eigth season of “Weeds” will be the final season for the show. I heard really great things about this series when it first started, but I don’t know anyone who still watches it. Maybe it’s better that it goes out now instead of turning into some sad reflection of “The Office,” which should have been taken out behind the barn and shot years ago.

“Breaking Bad” star Aaron Paul is almost done filming the final season of the show, so he’s out looking for work again. There’s a chance he could pull a 180 and go from meth dealer to missionary in an HBO Cold War spy series. Set in Berlin during the 1960s, Paul would play the lead role of a missionary who becomes involved with the CIA. Sounds pretty compelling, but it’s going to be next to IMPOSSIBLE to live up to the quality of “Breaking Bad.” Good luck.

NBC’s new reboot of “The Munsters” called “Mockingbird Lane” has been cranking up the casting lately, and now we have a first look photo of the “plain” cousin who lives among classic monster archetypes like Frankenstein, vampires, and werewolves. Charity Wakefield plays this part, showrunner Bryan Fuller created the series, and X-Men director Bryan Singer directed the pilot. Keep your eyes peeled to NBC for more info on the show’s debut.
