With well over 200 shows across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark these guys definitely know how to impress. A four headed rollercoster-ride of a band, oozing Indie greatness from head to foot, Ludwig van play instant pop tunes that grab you by the neck and make you wanna dance and shout. Whilst the band’s musical output is drenched with modern sounds, the songs also echo the post-punk styles of Steve Harley and the Boomtown rats to the brit pop swagger of Jarvis Cocker. Founded in 2005 in their native Flensburg this new fab four already gained high recognition in the National press after winning the distinguished ‚John Lennon Talent Award’ in 2009. Their success has brought them more into the limelight with support shows for German cult acts like the ‚Trashmonkeys’ and punk-pop darling ‚Jennifer Rostock’. At each show singer and band leader Jesper Jacobson creates such a direct impact at the audience thats hard to resist. The passion, energy and humour of this young, good looking band is instantly recognisable with every beat of the snare, pounding piano and thrashing bar chord. Recently the boys have recorded their professional debut album in the famous Studio East in Berlin.
